Comic writing
As a comic writer I aim to tell stories that leave an impression. Comics are a very unique medium and they challenge me as a writer to think about what is truly important to convey. After all, there’s only so much that fits in a single panel. I’ve written comics as short as two pages and as long as the average graphic novel. I have experience writing existing IPs as well as my own original creations, and while I have a soft spot for grimdark stories with unhappy endings, I consider myself to be quite versatile when it comes to genre. My page rate varies per project, depending on the amount of work that is needed. You can contact me to discuss your project and your budget with me.

Letters from the Void (Indie, 2025)
For Luke W. Henderson’s comic anthology “Letters from the Void” I wrote a short comic called “The Space Between the Gaps”, which is heavily inspired by my own issues with memory loss and a feeling of grief that comes with it. It was illustrated by Garou and lettered by Luke W. Henderson.
Let Us In (Indie, 2025)
For Oscar Osorio’s anthology “Let Us In”, a project all about trying to break into a US-centred comic industry while not from the US, I wrote a short comic called “Beyond The Loop”, illustrated by Crystal Pandita and lettered by Francis Francia S. “Beyond the Loop” is about a young comic writer named Seriz, trying to pitch their comic to some industry professionals from a different planet. However they quickly realise that there is a bit of a literature gap hindering them.
Tales from Nottingham #2 (Mad Cave Studios, 2023)
In October 2021 I was one of the Mad Cave Studios talent search winners. As a result, I got to write a 20-page issue for Tales from Nottingham, released March 2023.
In 1192, hunting on the Crown’s land is forbidden by law. When the Sheriff of Nottingham is commanded to investigate a grisly murder on Prince John’s lands, he becomes entangled in a dangerous game with a most mercurial adversary…

Fractured Realms (Limit Break Comics, 2023)
In 2023, Limit Break Comics published the Norse mythology inspired horror anthology “Fractured Realms”, featuring my 4-page comic “Earworm”, with art by Chris Panda. “Earworm” is about a woman with a devil on her shoulder, except the devil is the squirrel Ratatoskr, giving her insight in what people really think.
Dark Things Bloom (Puppet Theatre, 2022)
In December of 2022, the “Dark Things Bloom” anthology was funded on Kickstarter. This anthology includes my comic “Tea of Truth”, where protagonist Cassidy uncovers why they’ve always felt out of place in their world. The artist is Vanessa Cardinali.

The77 Publications (2020 – 2025)
The77 Publications is an indie publisher from the UK and is home to some of my earliest work. I am forever grateful that Ben Cullis and the team at The77 gave a chance to a then unknown writer and thus kickstarted my career. Check out their comics here. and their Instagram here.
In 2020 my first comic got published. It’s a 4-page short comic called “Forgotten Reality”, published by The77 Publications, with art from Phil Elliott.
In 2021, my second 4-page short comic, called “The Monster In You”, came out under The77 Publications, with art from Kish Williams.
In 2022, my third short comic “Weep for me” came out under Pandora Comics (part of The77 Publications), with art from Gary Burley.
In 2023, my fourth short comic “Fate’s Chase” came out under The77 Publications, with art by Darren Stephens.
In 2024, my fifth short comic “Playing House” came out under Lolz, a comic anthology aimed at kids (part of the77 Publishing), with art by Darren Stephens. In 2025 my sixth short comic “Heroes of the Heart” was published in issue 2 of Lolz, again with art by Darren Stephens.
“Anna burst onto the comics scene in 2020 with ‘Forgotten Reality’ in The77 No.3 (illustrated by Phillip Elliott). It was selected by The77 Publications for nomination as ‘Best Newcomer’ at the 2021 Eisner Awards. They have since published several more stories for the British company in The77 Annual No.1 (2021) and Pandora (2022), among others.
